⚓ All hands on deck? Help Detective Dachs in Kiel!
A detective trail is an exciting, interactive mystery tour: Armed with a treasure map, your wits, and a keen sense of detection, you’ll follow clues through the city and work together to solve a tricky case.
In Kiel, Detective Dachs has a real problem: He wants to finally set sail—but his ship’s crew has suddenly vanished! He can’t possibly set sail on his own. So he needs you: Can you find his crew and get the ship ready to go?
Using your treasure map, the search begins at the Children’s Rights Square and takes you right into the heart of maritime Kiel. You’ll follow the trail along the harbor, discover sailing ships, cross the unique Hörn Bridge, and keep an eye out for suspicious clues. Along the way, the motto is always: Keep your eyes peeled, work together to solve puzzles, and think on your feet! You’ll also learn what children’s rights mean, discover special works of art, and even find out how real sea dogs stay on course out on the water.
With every puzzle you solve, you’ll get a little closer to the missing crew. Once you’ve pieced together all the clues correctly, one final challenge awaits at the end: crack the secret code! If you succeed, the treasure chest will open and a surprise will be waiting for you.
The Kiel Detective Trail is a fantastic outdoor adventure for families with children ages six and up, combining puzzle fun, physical activity, and that authentic harbor vibe.
