The best orchestras on the amateur scene
Every four years, around 100 amateur orchestras from the fields of symphonic music, plucked string, wind and accordion music and jazz come together to compete, perform concerts and make the respective host city resound.
From June 14 to 18, 2025, the German Orchestra Competition will be hosted by the cities of Wiesbaden, Mainz and Ingelheim in the Rhine-Main region.
