Deutschland und das Völkerrecht - eine Podiumsdiskussion

Germany sees itself as a champion of a rules-based international order. Its commitment to international law is deeply rooted in its historical experience and continues to shape its foreign policy identity to this day.

Today, Germany stands once again with greater self-confidence among the nations of the world and asserts its own claims and those of its partners under international law.

In doing so, is Germany keeping its promise to align its policies with international law?

Where do the boundaries lie between adherence to principles and political reality?

We would like to discuss these and other questions together with Prof. Dr. Klaus Schlichte (University of Bremen) and Prof. em. Dr. Norman Paech (formerly of the University of Hamburg) as part of our panel discussion.

The event will take place on June 30 at 6:00 p.m. in Room M328 as part of the “Project in Political Management” module in the International Degree Program in Political Management at Bremen University of Applied Sciences and is being organized by students.
