In the ethereal stillness of the morning mist, in the gentle warmth
rising from cooking fires, and the timeless poetry of the stilt houses
(Diaojiaolou), the essence of an Eastern aesthetic of coexistence unfolds.

From this inspiration arises the series“Morning Mist · Cooking Smoke”—a
homage to the fragile harmony of nature, architecture, and life.

The structural language of Tujia tiled roofs and roof edges is translated into a
new design language for footwear. Through layered
sequin embroidery and the finest hand-embroidery techniques, the multi-layered image
of smoke rising from the old mountain villages is reinterpreted.

More than a hundred artisanal steps coalesce into a quiet,
tangible warmth—a texture that preserves the cultural depth of the Tujia and
translates it into contemporary design.

This is how the SHEME Fall/Winter 2026 collection comes to life: a dialogue between
tradition and modernity, between landscape and craftsmanship, between
memory and form.
