Día de Muertos (Tag der Toten)
In the organizer's words:
"Día de Muertos" (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican tradition that celebrates death and life and a devotion to honor the deceased. In this sense, death is not considered an absence, but a symbol of life. Different colors, fancy decorations and authentic elements of a Mexican "altar of the dead" will mix with a colorful program of characteristic traditions of art, culture and music.
28.10.23: Cultural program from 5 p.m., concert "Pinches Perros" from 8 p.m.
29.10.23: Children's cinema 12-14 h, film screening from 15 h
Sat+Sun from 10am: altar, photo exhibition, authentic Mexican food.
