Volker Resing, born in 1970, is a journalist and author. He has been head of the Berliner Republik department at the monthly magazine Cicero since 2002. He was previously editor-in-chief of the magazine Herder Korrespondenz. He has worked as a political correspondent in Berlin for various media since 2002. His most recent book is: Friedrich Merz.
