Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten

Joseph the donkey has had enough. He's had enough of hauling sacks. He's been doing it for far too long and he can't do it any more. He says goodbye to the miller and sets off. On his way, he meets the hesitant dog Bella, the almost blind but impetuous cat Erika and the would-be star rooster Elvis, none of whom are really happy with their work for the shepherdess, baker and farmer's wife. But they are extremely excited about a new life that they never thought they would have: As musicians! Together, the four of them move on to Bremen - because there's a music competition. But what music should be played? Who will set the beat? And where do they actually go to Bremen? When they are surprised by the darkness in the forest and their hunger grows ever greater, they discover a light. The four new friends become an unbeatable team when they find a robber's house with a tempting smell of food. Then suddenly everything happens very quickly. But what kind of robbers are they? And why are there even more musicians?

Donkey, dog, cat, rooster - after many years, the four famous animals are back on stage in Hagen at Christmas time. Accompanied by the fairytale band, they sing and play new funny, thought-provoking and simply good songs - because: Music is their life.
