Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Camino de Santiago, this film is a moving ode to setting out, letting go, and arriving.
When two people set out on a journey: Fred, a teacher, and Adam, a rebellious teenager, could hardly be more different. While Fred clings to her increasingly precarious but orderly life, Adam tries at all costs to escape his past of foster care, school expulsions, and juvenile detention. A rehabilitation program brings the two together on the Camino de Santiago to Santiago de Compostela. Amid arguments, silences, and unexpected twists, they are forced to confront their problems—and in doing so, discover a new strength within themselves and in each other. But will that be enough to overcome their differences and reach their destination?
