Die drei ??? - Phantom Highway

On a mission for Uncle Titus, the Three Investigators find themselves in a rainy
night to ZEUS, a now-closed resort in the middle of nowhere in the Nevada
Nevada. Their mission is to pick up some old but still-working slot machines. However, the
relentless downpour, however, makes the trip home impossible. Justus, Peter, and Bob
manage to persuade the tight-lipped caretaker to let them spend the night at a nearby motel
. But when more unexpected guests arrive, dark

*Phantom Highway* is now the sixth adventure of the popular young detectives,
told as a graphic novel. In addition to references to Gaston Leroux’s horror classic,
’50s sci-fi, and retro games, this case also offers musical surprises. These
were penned by New York-based songwriter Phoebe Kreutz. The
the entire work is once again the tried-and-true team of Calle Claus and Christopher
Tauber.
At the comic book reading, the graphic novel will be presented as a film with its own soundtrack on
the screen, and author and illustrator Christopher Tauber is clearly having a blast as he
takes on all the roles in the story with gusto.
About the series: Awarded the Max & Moritz Prize in 2018 for best comic for children
and has since become an indispensable part of the world of The Three Investigators. What
began as a visual experiment by Kosmos Verlag in 2015 has since evolved into the Graphic
Novel series, which now includes six original stories, three adaptations of popular classics
from the series, and two books that shed a noir-style light on the adult lives of the Three ???
