Die Fabrik der verlorenen Fäden

In the organizer's words:

The factory of lost threads

Who was Rosa Klauber?

Participatory theater by Traummaschine Inc.

The PATHOS Theater is located on the site of the former Luitpold barracks. One hundred years ago, this was the site of the ultra-modern lace underwear factory of Jewish entrepreneur Rosa Klauber. Traummaschine Inc. sends the audience on a journey into her life: Between lengths of fabric and whispers of the past, through a world of ghosts and forgotten stories, faded patterns and the sounds of machines - a sensory experience that makes history tangible. Past and present interweave to create an installation in which Rosa Klauber's legacy lives on.

Research based on the exhibition "Spitzenhaus Rosa Klauber" at the Jewish Museum Munich.

ATTENTION: We move out of the theater with the audience and have to climb three steps. This can be difficult for people in wheelchairs - we are happy to help if we know in advance. Write us an email to presse@pathos.theater!

As a multidisciplinary ensemble,Traummaschine Inc. was awarded the City of Munich's theater funding prize in 2022 for its achievements to date and its unusual artistic positions. The interdisciplinary composition of the group appeals to the audience on many levels: exciting stories meet subtle humor, socio-political topics meet magical moments, enlightenment meets the fantastic and musical pleasure meets unusual venues. In their productions "Die Beute. Ein Einbruch in das koloniale Labyrinth" as well as "skills and dreams" and "sweats", which were presented at PATHOS theater and schwere reiter, collectivity and participation are at the heart of the creative process. By collaborating with experts in the fields of costume, dance and visuals, as well as through a series of workshops at local partner schools, the collective aims to provide new impetus in children's and youth theater.
