QR vernissage + DJ set
In the 1920s, Rosa Klauber's family ran a successful lace laundry factory on the site of today's PATHOS theater. During the National Socialist era, the company was expropriated, the family was forced to flee and its history was largely suppressed. The name Klauber disappeared from the public memory of the city of Munich for a long time. Traummaschine Inc. brings back the history of the lace factory - not as a monument, but as a walk-in narrative. Hidden between the brick and concrete are QR codes. The traces of the past connect with the present. Memories become audible, visible, tangible. The lost threads are woven together anew - in a walk through a place where history and the present meet.
The opening will feature a talk with the makers and a DJ set by Pascal Fuhlbrügge, who designed the music. The QR Walk can be accessed at any time from the opening with a cell phone or mobile tablet. The use of headphones is recommended.

As a multidisciplinary ensemble,Traummaschine Inc. was awarded the City of Munich's theater sponsorship prize in 2022 for its achievements to date and its unusual artistic positions. The interdisciplinary composition of the group appeals to the audience on many levels: exciting stories meet subtle humor, socio-political topics meet magical moments, enlightenment meets the fantastic and musical pleasure meets unusual venues. In their productions "Die Beute. Ein Einbruch in das koloniale Labyrinth" as well as "skills and dreams" and "sweats", which were presented at PATHOS theater and schwere reiter, collectivity and participation are at the heart of the creative process. By collaborating with experts in the fields of costume, dance and visuals, as well as through a series of workshops at local partner schools, the collective aims to provide new impetus in children's and youth theater.
