Hohenzollernstrasse is the liveliest and busiest street in Schwabing. However, it has been undergoing constant change for decades. Small family businesses that once lined the street have given way to trendy stores and large supermarket chains. How do these people experience their street? How do they live - and above all: who lives and works here?

Filmmaker Wolfgang Ettlich and cameraman Hans-Albrecht Lusznat set off on a walk through Hohenzollernstrasse to get to the bottom of its appeal and at the same time document a personal search for the "Schwabing myth".

After the screening of the film, a discussion with documentary filmmaker and Schwabing original Wolfgang Ettlich is planned.
