Die Lange Nacht der Kultur - Jazz-Soul-Funk Meeting im Cave
In the organizer's words:
Three short sets offer all music enthusiasts the opportunity to drop in for a quick visit or to be captivated by the gripping groove for a longer stay. Jazz / Soul / Funk
When the two Heilbronn-based musicians Robert Giegling and Werner Acker meet, the result is a musical dialog that is as virtuosic as it is sensitive. Both artists share a passion for cross-style soundscapes - from jazz, soul and funk to rhythm & blues.
Robert Giegling (trumpet/flugelhorn) is a versatile musician whose playing is characterized by a balanced combination of technical precision and creative openness.
Werner Acker (guitar), known for his expressive guitar playing and his many years of experience on national and international stages, brings an unmistakable blend of technical finesse and emotional depth.
Alex Uhl (bass) and Lisa Wilhelm (drums) complement this interplay with their sense of groove and creative sound design.
Together, the quartet creates an intense live experience with plenty of room for spontaneity at the highest level.
