In Palermo stands the “Villa of the Monsters,” which is teeming with eerie stone sculptures. Goethe saw a wild mix of mythical creatures there.
Take a look around the museum and encounter the “monsters” lurking everywhere here before you draw and create your own monsters on—and off—paper.
