Who is Isolde?

Isolde is 74, has experienced breast cancer and calls herself a color box. In this exhibition, she provides personal insights - with humor, openness and a good dose of joie de vivre. Her courage and resilience make her a source of inspiration for many.

What is it about?

The Naked Truth is an artistic and personal exploration of realities, perspectives, femininity, body images and breast cancer - inspired by Isolde's life story. With courage, authenticity and resilience, the project combines artistic formats with personal reflection and sets positive feminist impulses.

The centerpiece is a photo exhibition (photo: Mike Krueger) with Isolde's powerful before and after pictures - an intimate insight into her personal journey before and after the mastectomy. In addition, The Naked Truth makes visible stories and experiences that often remain invisible - especially those of older women and people who have experienced breast cancer.

Who is it for? For everyone - from young to old - who is interested in other perspectives and realities, Munich artists and personalities, as well as topics such as body images, resilience, ageing and social norms.
