Düsseldorf is the city with the most (income) millionaires in NRW. But how does excess wealth come about and what does extreme inequality mean for our democracy? On an interactive city tour around Düsseldorf's Königsallee, you will learn more about the world of the wealthy and the role of banks, media and lobby organizations.

Together with the guides from Attac Düsseldorf, you will visit several stations and listen to excerpts from a fictitious secret diary of a billionaire. Quiz questions, facts and background information will give you an insight into how huge fortunes are made, how banks and consulting firms help people avoid paying taxes and the consequences of excess wealth for our society.

The city tour combines symbolic places in Düsseldorf with deeper insights into the functioning of the economy and society and opens up space for exchange and discussion. It offers background information and food for thought on what a just society could look like and what we can do to achieve it.

The tour is suitable for anyone who would like to find out more about the economic and wealth situation in Düsseldorf and in society - no prior knowledge is required. We offer a brochure with texts, diagrams and further sources to read and deepen the information.

Experience an inspiring one and a half hour walk around the Kö with interesting information on inequality and wealth, and exchange ideas with Attac activists and participants.
