A narrative concert about Bach's journey to the land of Confucius after his unsuccessful application to Leipzig.
1722; Bach meets a beguiling Chinese woman, her exotic-sounding music and her instrument GuZheng and decides to travel with her to the Land of the Rising Sun, as Bach thought at the time. This journey was to take him across as many seas as possible and satisfy his longing for the infinite; it mainly brought him the acquaintance of numerous musicians from all over the world and their music.
