Night Radio Show - or William Shakespeare's sonnets as medicine against nocturnal loneliness

As always on Wednesday nights, presenter Gerlach sits in the studio of Radio Nord Nordwest 2 and switches his phone off for callers. This night, too, people will talk about their lives. Because when they tell their stories, the worst disasters take on a meaning. Tonight, however, Gerlach has good news: "Proper reading saves you from everything, including yourself," he says into the microphone right at the beginning. Call in and tell us if and how a book, a song, a poem or even a sonnet by Shakespeare once saved you. Because in England, for example, people suffering from depression are given books on prescription. Listen or just call and find solace..." That night, four people call from the NOW, people like you and me. But a Dark Lady from the afterlife also calls.
Together with author Judith Kuckart, the ensemble has set out on a journey with Shakespeare, writing texts and developing characters whose life stories are reflected in Shakespeare's sonnets.
