As part of the festival, we invite you to join our special workshop series, open to all levels of experience! No matter whether you already dance a lot or simply want to try out new approaches to movement: Here you can get creative, be inspired by the festival artists and learn directly from their unique ways of working.
The four-hour workshops will give you a practical insight into the techniques, movements and ideas behind the performances. The workshops take place in the theater rooms of the EISFABRIK, exactly where the performances are presented. An inspiring environment to try things out, discover yourself and exchange ideas with other dance enthusiasts.
The workshops are held in English and German and offer you an uncomplicated way to learn new dance techniques and develop creatively.

Aron Nowak - Workshop

The workshop begins with an intensive warm-up that activates the body, opens it up and leads to movement together.

Participants will then gain an insight into the movement languages of Landerer & Company and Dimo Milev. Two artistic approaches that meet in their energy and at the same time pursue different paths.

The work of Landerer & Company is powerful, grounded and precise. Movement arises from inner images, emotions and experiences. Dimo Milev's movement language works with soft tension, flowing control and a subtle interplay between stability and openness.

The focus is on the interplay of dynamics, precision and body awareness - between control and letting go, strength and lightness.

The workshop is open to all levels of experience, no previous knowledge is required.

An intensive workshop that challenges physical presence, sharpens perception and opens up new approaches to movement.
