Five examples of many from this book, which brings the people and events of the post-war period to life, the dance between the ruins, the drama of the division of Germany, the experience of some "miracles" - from the "economic miracle" to the "Miracle of Bern". At the same time, it describes continuities beyond the threshold year of 1945. Was there a "zero hour"? It wasn't that simple back then.
