An extraordinary concert evening about chaos and new beginnings, despair and hope. The story of the Flood has been told for thousands of years, but today humanity has its fate in its own hands...
Under the title "Diluvio", previously unheard settings of the Flood myth by Michelangelo Falvetti (Sicily, 1682) and Camille Saint-Saëns (Paris, 1875) for choir, soloists and orchestra as well as the world premiere of a work by Berlin composer Justin Lépany (*1980) will be performed in Berlin - a panorama of musical approaches to this age-old theme of humanity, which is of moving topicality.
6 pm: introductory discussion on the concert program with Linda Becker (activist with the Last Generation), Prof. Markus Witte (HU Berlin) and Johannes Stolte (conductor)
Passion Choir

Alessia Schumacher - Soprano
