In the summer of ’63, 17-year-old Frances Houseman spends her vacation with her parents. But then she meets dance instructor Johnny—and falls in love with him.
It’s set to be the time of her life. But when 17-year-old Frances Houseman goes on vacation with her family in the summer of ’63, everything initially looks like it’s going to be a boring, stuffy vacation with her parents. At least until she meets dance instructor Johnny and falls in love with him. Because while he teaches her to dance, she shows him how important it is to always believe in yourself. And so their last dance together isn’t just the end of the season. It’s more than that.
