Happy Birthday and it's time for another journey into the depth of DISCALAND. It's the anniversary of our unforgettable Discaland anniversary with Miss Bashful, DBBD and DJ Fuckoff. And to continue our tradition, we are once again opening our doors in October for the turn-up of superlatives. This time, we'll be hosting the Berlin native Lúcia Lu, whose roots lie deep in the capital's vibrant underground scene. Her mission is to share the essence of Berlin with the world. We can look forward to a sonic journey into the depths of techno, rolling grooves, hypnotic melodies and a genre-fluid sound that knows no pigeonholes. Oase founder, Lehmann resident and trance mastermind DJ Feeltoomuch returns to the decks of his home base for the power-closing. Discaland resident Nils Haussmann will of course also be part of the party. The artists Mia Onacid, River Roux, Alice La Douce, Shayla and Calypso Storm, all former members of the Berlin Strippers Collective, are developing a performative intervention for the event. They are creating performances that have been written, staged and produced exclusively by sex workers. In doing so, they are reclaiming their own stories and providing an insight into their unique perspectives on work, stigma and community. We are ready! - You too?
