Political education work in the context of current crises and shifts in social discourse takes strength. Personal compensation strategies are not always sufficient to protect oneself against ongoing attacks and stress. Those who seek professional support often find that discriminatory framework conditions, a lack of awareness or unreflected assumptions are part of psychotherapeutic services.

So what does it take to design psychotherapeutic services that are critical of discrimination, sensitive to power and based on solidarity - especially in these times?

Jonathan Czollek (psychotherapist and (founding) member of the Institute for Diversity Psychology) and Birsen Kahraman (psychotherapist, lecturer and supervisor) talk about this.
