A turntable spins, the needle seeks the groove - and immediately a space of sound and time opens up. DJ Ben Ethek does not work with off-the-peg playlists, but with treasures that he has found at flea markets, in small record stores and in hidden crates.

Soul that flows like honey, jazz that feels like a conversation in the half-shadow, and hip-hop beats that sit between the tracks like pulsating heartbeats. Every transition is crafted, every song a bridge to the next mood. The warm, slightly dusty colors of the vinyl mingle with the velvety pulse of the evening.

You can sense that this is not just music being played here - an arc is being spanned, from the past to the present, from an old pressing to a spontaneous moment. It's a journey where you don't know what's coming next, but you're sure it's going to be just right. And when the needle crackles briefly, you know: That's not a mistake - that's the soul in the sound.

Leave your car at home - there's hardly any parking in the neighborhood. Come relaxed by bus or city bike:
