In a sculptural intervention specially conceived for the exhibition "Wilhelm Lehmbruck. Ewig menschlich", the contemporary artist Gintarė Sokelytė enters into a dialog with Lehmbruck's art. Her works also tell of an unconditional link between the spiritual and emotional inner life of man and the outer form of his body. During a joint tour, Gintarė Sokelytė and curator Dr. Katharina Rüppell will talk about her and Lehmbruck's works and the artistic possibilities of reflecting on our humanity in the face of existential crises.

The guided tour will be held in English.

• Tickets go on sale approx. 3-4 weeks before the date of the event. Tickets are available online via the Saxony-Anhalt Cultural Foundation ticket store (see link below) or on site at our museum ticket office.
  
• Children and young people up to the age of 18, pupils, students, trainees and other persons who are entitled to free admission to the museum only pay a total of 3 euros.

In the exhibition "Wilhelm Lehmbruck. Eternally Human", Lehmbruck's works enter into a dialog with an intervention by the contemporary artist Gintarė Sokelytė. Her sculptural works also speak of a necessary link between man's spiritual-emotional inner life and the outer form of the human body. During a guided tour, Gintarė Sokelytė and curator Dr. Katharina Rüppell discuss the intervention and the works of Wilhelm Lehmbruck, as well as the artistic possibilities of reflecting on "being human" in the face of existential crises.
