TRAVEL & TRUNKS
Somewhere between boxing matches, broken hearts, boozy and sweaty Saturday nights and favorite records, between folk and punk and country, that's where you'll find the songs of Travel & Trunks. Sometimes solo, sometimes with a full band, the musician from Dortmund has been touring the clubs, bars, backyards and cellars of Germany and neighboring countries for years.
Julius has arrived - initially starting out as a band, the Dortmund thoroughbred musician eventually began touring as a solo artist. This was followed by numerous successful tours with fellow artists such as Stumfol, Zeki Min and Complaints, several live recordings and finally the renewed development into a band.
Now his first EP "Jewelry Stores & Heartaches" is being released! According to the press release, it contains six songs with which Julius and his new band have managed a balancing act between rock, folk and country! His unmistakable voice, his authentic style and the rare mix of genres make the songs an experience - each in its own unique way. ( Text HB People)
