Dörte Hansen liest aus "Broder"
In the organizer's words:
Hosted by Radio Bremer host Katrin Krämer.
Dörte Hansen’s new novel tells the story of family, heritage, and the changes in agriculture. Broder Bahnsen always wanted to take over his parents’ farm, but the business ultimately passes to his twin brother, Henning. Decades later, Broder returns as a veterinarian and witnesses how his brother’s modern, model farm is increasingly faltering. Amid old conflicts, questions of responsibility, and the treatment of animals, a compelling story unfolds about tradition, progress, and the search for one’s place in the world.
