In the organizer's words:

"Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

Das Weers, Frida Lou and Nachtschattenblau will perform on 13.02.2026.

DAS WEERS - The Dortmund musician makes German pop music. His style is a wild mix of different musical genres and his lyrics are considered to be the best since Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. His repertoire includes love songs as well as songs about train travel - something for everyone.

FRIDA LOU is a young singer-songwriter whose music is characterized by jazz, soul and pop influences. In 2024, she reached a large audience as a finalist on the show "DEIN SONG". In May 2025, she released her self-written and produced single "Gasoline".

NACHTSCHATTENBLAU is an inclusive band with lyrical, very transparent arrangements of three-part vocals, piano and guitar. The trio is part of the Tonstudio 13 pool, a project for people with and without disabilities who make music, organized by the Dortmund-based association Gesamtkunstwerk e.V.
