The new production "Raw" by Cologne-based vocalist and improviser Laura Totenhagen will be released on November 8. Totenhagen was already dubbed "high end" by Ulrich Stock (ZEIT) when she presented her first own projects in 2016. Four years ago, she then began to hone her free improvisational practice. The immediate result is "Raw". The project, funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Kunststiftung NRW, includes five excerpts from sessions with top-class improvisers from the USA and Germany. As one of the five duo partners, the South Korean gayageum player DoYeon Kim from New York City will be traveling to Germany. At the Pasinger Fabrik, listeners can enjoy a freely improvised set by the two musicians, which showcases the extremely versatile and humorous range of their instruments.
