In this workshop, participants will get an introduction to the world of drag kings & quings and develop their own drag persona. All interested people are welcome! Those who want can perform in one of Ruby's shows afterwards.
On the schedule is:

- Finding your male/androgynous drag alter ego
- Stage makeup & costume
- performance
If available, please bring: Makeup, makeup mirror, "masculine" clothing/shoes/accessories.
About Ruby
Munich's Kindl Ruby Tuesday has been performing as a Neo Burlesque performer throughout Europe for twelve years. This art form allows performers not only to play with femininity and sensuality in a self-determined, creative and humorous way, but also to question social norms and blur boundaries. In the meantime, Ruby has become an indispensable part of the German drag scene, breaking down genre and gender boundaries according to her motto "on stage I can be whatever I want". Her first Drag King Workshop 2021 was the birth of the Munich Drag King scene.
Date: Sun. 21. 1. and Sun. 18. 2. 2023, duration each 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
This is a workshop consisting of two dates. With the purchase of a ticket you are registered for both dates.
