"Punkt" (Swedish) refers to the point of view of a musical statement, "Vrt" (Slovenian) means garden, where musical ideas are planted and cultivated, "Plastik" (German) as a sound vision, describes the plasticity of the musical forms and structures. The trio impresses with a highly individual sound world and a rarely heard clarity and precision, even where they improvise freely, where rhythm, melody and meter dissolve. "Punkt.Vrt.Plastik have an amazing sound and a unique vision", writes Alexander Hawkins in the liner notes to the current CD "LIVE IN ZÜRICH". The German music magazine "Jazzthetik" calls the trio "a supergroup" and attests: "Two musicians and one female musician who are among the most exciting and active that the European avant-garde has to offer." "Die Zeit" writes: "They are reinterpreting an entire genre: the good old piano trio."
Kaja Draksler (piano), Petter Eldh (bass), Christian Lillinger (drums)
