In a village in Lower Saxony, where the annual onion festival causes a stir and the days are otherwise rather predictable, young people are disappearing. When Flora goes missing, her sister Jenny joins forces with her three school friends and picks up her trail, which leads to a mystical figure called Rasputin. The young people, who otherwise flee to sleep, intoxication or Hanover, are confronted with their life questions with every step that brings them closer to the clues: To stay or to go? Where do I feel at home? Where is the utopia?

In Sven Pfizenmaier's debut novel, the inner conflicts of coming-of-age, the desire to belong and the search for happiness and stability are brought to the surface in a fantastically comical language. In his first production at Theater Bremen, Viktor Lamert deals with cultural affiliation, external attributions and strategies and possibilities for avoiding them.
