A pack of strays - seven dogs and a woman - live in the shadows of the city of Moscow. Hidden by the totalitarian authorities, two species share their existence on the brink of disappearance. They roam in constant restlessness through a wild landscape where the city is falling apart. Shot from the perspective of the animals, the patterns of mutual dependence and taming begin to unravel.
