In the organizer's words:
Neoclassical music can be so different.
Sharp-edged, energetic and full of fire, "Rubies" by George Balanchine opens the evening, followed by Hans van Manen's "Visions Fugitives": an ode to the fleeting art of dance. "Enemy in the Figure" by William Forsythe forms the brilliant finale: a work that has lost nothing of its modernity with its urgency and radical aesthetics.
