There are no rules and no pressure to perform. Paint whatever inspires you—in your own unique style. Printed and digital inspiration templates are available to you at any time.

we ask that you arrive on time.

6:30 p.m. | Creative time

• Now the canvas is all yours.

8:30 p.m. | Final Brushstrokes

• The final brushstrokes, pleasant conversations, and an instant photo as a memento of a special evening.

Until 9:00 p.m.

• Take your time to finish your artwork at your own pace.

Important Information

Seating is divided among 6 tables, each seating up to 12 people. There are no reserved seats; you’re free to choose your own spot.

Would you like to sit with friends? Then it’s best to arrive together and a little early so you can choose seats next to each other.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Please be on time so we can start the evening together.

It’s best to wear comfortable clothes. We’ll provide you with an apron, but we still recommend wearing clothes you feel comfortable in.

No prior experience is necessary for the evening—everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cook.

About Area-X

Behind Area-X are three friends who love art and believe that the best evenings are often the ones you experience together.

With Area-X, we want to create a place where people can leave their everyday lives behind for a few hours, be creative, and have a good time together—without any pressure and without needing any prior experience.

Why Area-X?
The “X” stands for the unknown—for new places, new encounters, and new memories. That’s why Area-X doesn’t have a fixed location. Each event takes place at a special venue and tells its own story.

Our first chapter begins at the Concordia Wuppertal social club.

This Drink & Paint is our very first event. We’ve put our heart and soul into every detail

—from the venue to the music and materials, right down to the drinks and the atmosphere.

We hope you’ll go home not only with the artwork you painted yourself, but also with wonderful memories and the feeling of having been part of the first Area-X evening.
