On September 5, 2026, Hamburg’s Rathausmarkt will be transformed into a place for encounters, exchange, and togetherness: Under the motto “Together. Strong. For Hamburg,” the German Red Cross Hamburg invites you to its big DRK Action Day.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can look forward to a varied day featuring an exciting stage program, live music by the Heaven Can Wait Choir, Die JunX, and the Welcome Band, numerous hands-on and creative activities, and fascinating insights into the work of the German Red Cross Hamburg.
A special highlight of the day will be a participatory event at 3 p.m.: Many people will gather at the Rathausmarkt to form the city’s largest heart together. The activity symbolizes what the German Red Cross Hamburg stands for: humanity, unity, and solidarity—especially in times of crisis.
