Ductape emerged from the underground music scene of bustling Istanbul and carry the torch of the groundbreaking post-punk revolution. But they're not just picking up where their predecessors left off, they're pushing the genre into uncharted territories. Founded by Çağla and Furkan Güleray, the band combines melancholic melodies with powerful beats and hypnotic synthesizers. Their lyrics, often in English and Turkish, reflect themes such as isolation, longing and social constraints.
