On Friday, November 8 at 7:30 pm, the duo Amaryllis, consisting of the musicians Gilda Razani and Hans Wanning, will delight the audience with a varied repertoire of film, classical jazz and their own compositions. Gilda Razani is a world-renowned theremin player and singer. Born in Iran, she shapes the invisible electronic field between the two antennae of the ether wave instrument with dancing grace. Hanzō Wanning studied piano and composition in Hilversum, Holland, and graduated at the top of his class. In addition to his numerous compositions, he played with many greats at numerous festivals. He has also acquired incomparable expertise in the electronic sector, has a teaching position at the University of Dortmund and is a lecturer at the Jazz Academy. In their program, the duo plays well-known film melodies such as Star Trek, Once Upon a Time and classics such as Midsommer Murders.
