The music of Manuel Eberle and Raphael Weilguni is spontaneous and speaks directly; the instruments are their voices, they meet in musical dialog and find each other in the simultaneity of sounds and moments of silence. In three parts, they interweave electronic-urban sounds with vocal-melodic phrases. They simultaneously create a joint sound sculpture. The improvised material oscillates between harmonic and atonal poles, and their own scales crystallize as they listen to and follow each other. Free chaotic energy forms itself into lovingly melodious, playful lightness, charming wit, and ends up in a chorale. In their rhapsodizing, the listeners forget the time.
Manuel Eberle (trumpet, drum machine), Raphael Weilguni (piano, synthesizer)
