Duo Helena & Annie „Ein Tröpfchen Herzblut mit Rum"

We are Helena & Annie, passionate chanson singers for many years!

Initially mainly soloists, we got to know each other at the chanson workshop of the renowned Brecht interpreter Gina Pietsch, where we discovered our musical affinity.

The title of our evening, "Ein Tröpfchen Herzblut mit Rum", is borrowed from one of our duets, which is dedicated to the girls from the Romanisches Café in Berlin in the 1920s. Just like this chanson, each of our songs tells a little story from life - melancholic, cheeky, cheerful or sensual - captured and carried by the sounds of the piano.

Let yourself be carried away from everyday life and immerse yourself with us in the colorful variety of songs from Friedrich Hollaender, Barbara, Jaques Brel, Hilde Knef to Rio Reiser and Veronika Fischer.

Our pianist Uwe Matschke will accompany us on the piano.
