Was it still possible to survive in Berlin at the end of the golden 20s with music on the street? After all, the radio had already been invented. The backyard musicians Hans and Liese tried anyway. They have no choice, because there seems to be no way onto the glamorous stages of the city's temples of entertainment. Or maybe there is?

Accompany the two of them through a Berlin shaken by economic crisis and political upheaval! They perform well-known and lesser-known songs and hits by Claire Waldoff, Friedrich Hollaender, Mischa Spoliansky, Rudolf Nelson and others.
