Because your imagination is their lyrics. These are the grand melodies of the small, quirky things—soundscapes told through the duo’s instruments. Instrumental pop that invites you to close your eyes and let loose—all while sitting down! The Stiehler/Lucaciu duo stands for instrumental pop, rooted in a classical music education, shaped by their joint jazz studies in Leipzig, and inspired by musical exchanges with numerous friends and greats of the German music scene—Clueso, Sarah Lesch, Daniel Hope, Elif, Udo Lindenberg, Max Prosa, Günther “Baby” Sommer. Following the release of the EPs “Traumfresserchen,” “Clara Park,” “Soviel du brauchst,” and their first albums “Kompott geht immer” and “In der Nacht,” the duo Stiehler/Lucaciu released their first live album, “Live im Gewandhaus,” in 2020. In addition to their musical project, they are active as initiators: they founded the music label Egolaut Records, launched the live club Telegraph, and established the Egolaut Künstlerhaus in Leipzig’s Plagwitz district.
