„DYSTOPIANERN CONCERT“ – SONGS AUS ALLER WELT

Dystopianern Concert is a music album, a state and a realization.

With her project "Dystopians" the singer and composer Ira Blazejewska creates a so far unique electro-acoustic pop-chanson cabaret.

She resurrects a wild, glamorous and decadent pre-fascist era and describes parallels to today in twelve songs: the atmosphere of a cosmopolitan society is created, which at the same time becomes a dystopian scene of an unbounded capitalism and increasing fascist structures.
In her songs she lets the pop music of different times meet: Tradition and modernity mix, complement or erase each other and in turn bring forth something new. The chanson is transported into the present time, lyrically and through the musical means, which eclectically make use of diverse elements and range from an experimental Kurt Weill style to NDW and electro to hip-hop.

The album is an anti-fascist, anti-racist and pro-queer statement.

The Dystopianer_Innen band includes Ira, voice, Franky Chinasky, keys and toys, Andrè Schwager, piano, Tom Rheinbrecht, saxophone, Wilbert Pepper, bass, and Stefan Noelle, drums. Groove guaranteed.
