Earl Sweatshirt' s unique voice and his mix of horrorcore, rap and alternative hip-hop have made him famous as a rapper, producer, songwriter and member of the hip-hop collective Odd Future. His debut album "Doris" took him to number 5 on the Billboard 200 in 2013 and also reached number 23 in the UK. His albums "I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside" and "Some Rap Songs" can also enter the top 20 in the USA, while songs such as "Chum" (124 million Spotify streams) and "Sunday" feat. Frank Ocean (78 million Spotify streams) alongside the one-minute "Riot!" (92 million Spotify streams) became real hits. As a feature on Frank Ocean's song "Super Rich Kids" from the Grammy-winning album "Channel Orange" (2013), Earl Sweatshirt gained further credibility in the US hip-hop scene and attracted worldwide attention. His current album "Voir Dire" (2023) once again shows how creative the music of the US-American is, who lives out his sound in a consistently versatile way. The artist will be coming to Germany for three shows in September.
