Ecstatic Dance

Dear dance community,

On Sunday, September 28, our next Ecstatic Dance will take place in Frankfurt - this time we will be back in Rödelheim at the FTG. We are really looking forward to filling the FTG sports garden with music and movement.

After the very successful debut last year, we are once again looking forward to two special people who will sweeten the evening with a hybrid set with live drums:

Doors Close: 18:00
End approx. 21:00

Please be on time - because Doors Close at 6pm means that we won't let anyone in after 6pm so that we can start our opening circle without being disturbed.

Procedure:

As always, we start together in a circle and open the space together, which we will fill with our movement and the expression of our being. Basically, a few universal agreements apply to Ecstatic Dance:

• We dance sober and without the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants
• We refrain from speaking during the music
• We are mindful of each other and respect the boundaries of the other dancers
• We dance barefoot or with socks

After the opening circle, there will be a warm-up to help us arrive at ourselves and the space. We will then move on to the 2-hour music and dance journey.

As always, we will provide snacks and tea for you - feel free to bring your water bottle and optionally a cup.
