After more than two years of regular Ecstatic Dances in Berlin, DJ Ram Chama is coming to Hamburg to the beautiful yoga space in the Karoviertel.

This is your invitation to move freely, to arrive fully with yourself and to follow your own expression - carried by music, mindfulness and community.

We open the space with a welcome circle with a cup of raw cacao, the Sankalpa (intention) ritual, starting the journey with a gentle warm-up to help you arrive in your body.

From there we dive into an Ecstatic Dance Journey with Ram Chama. The music takes you through different levels - from gentle and flowing to powerful and vibrant - and invites you to follow your own rhythm.

This space is there for you - whether you move wildly and freely, dance gently and mindfully or simply stop and listen. Everything is welcome. We invite you to feel safe and supported and to express yourself without judgment.

At the end we will integrate the experience with a sound healing session.

This evening is an invitation to let go, open up and experience yourself in connection with yourself and the community.

This is a smoke, alcohol and drug free space.

We dance barefoot or in socks.

No previous experience necessary. You are welcome just as you are.

Please remember:

• A cup for the cocoa
• Water bottle (not glass)
• Comfortable clothes that you feel comfortable in
• A towel if necessary (in case you start to sweat)
• If necessary, a blanket to make yourself comfortable after dancing

Location:

We are very happy to be able to dance in the beautiful yoga room in the Karoviertel. For over 25 years, this place, run by Suse and Silke, has been an integral part of Hamburg's yoga and movement scene and has hosted many unique moments and encounters during this time. This is exactly what makes it such a special space for our Ecstatic Dance event.

Info: There is no separate changing room on site. So ideally come in your dance clothes.

Alternatively, you can change in the back room or in the bathroom on site.
