We are delighted to present a reading with Burak Yilmaz. Yilmaz is a German educator, author and anti-Semitism consultant who works for the German Bundestag, among others, on strategies against hatred of Jews and was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his commitment. In his book "Ehrensache - Kämpfen gegen Judenhass", he reflects on his personal experiences and educational approaches in the fight against anti-Semitism, analyzes its various contexts of origin and develops approaches for political education work that starts precisely where anti-Jewish resentment becomes effective in everyday life. The reading will be supplemented by a moderated discussion with Aisha Camara, in which central questions on civil society responsibility and the role of post-migrant perspectives for prevention work will be explored in greater depth
