Ehrung und Gedenkfeier für Harald Müller & M.I.X. 25th Anniversary

In the organizer's words:

M.I.X. was the life's work of Harald Müller (founder and initiator). The focus is on making children and young people from Mülheim who would otherwise not have been supported visible. M.I.X has given them the chance to discover and develop their talents. In doing so, they have promoted understanding and peace.

M.I.X. stands for Music International Against Xenophobia-Music and is an artistic-musical project and initiative that Harald Müller launched over 25 years ago in Cologne-Mülheim. The project supports pupils from different countries and cultures in making music together and thus sets an example against xenophobia.

Harald's constant work over the years has led to M.I.X being recognized not only in Mülheim and the city of Cologne, but also internationally, which is why the project has received numerous awards.

Three years ago, Harald Müller came up with the plan to celebrate the project's achievements with M.I.X and its old companions, artists, institutions and supporters. M.I.X. was already busy creating extensive video material and music recordings for the event. An event was planned with the aim of presenting over 25 years of M.I.X. project work and celebrating with all those involved, supporters and friends.

The event planned for 21.06.2024 in Kultur Bunker Köln-Mülheim is first and foremost an opportunity to honor Harald's valuable work with M.I.X. and to show the history of the project. It is also an opportunity for all the M.I.X young people involved and for all those who have worked with and supported M.I.X to come together to bring M.I.X to a close and say goodbye to Harald.
