The discussion about the future of Bonn's stages - theater and opera - is very emotional and moves the city society. A proposal by the city administration to relocate the opera and/or the Schauspielhaus to Beuel is under discussion. But what do the citizens of the city want?

Volt is calling for a citizens' council to be set up for the "future of Bonn's stages"!

What is a citizens' council anyway? How is it organized and who is allowed to participate?

Find out and join us for a discussion about citizens' councils - a format that involves real people in real decisions. With guests who know how it works. And with you, because your opinion counts.

Our guests and experts talk and discuss with you:

• Gereon Hermens, co-initiator of the citizens' councils in the city of Aachen
• Florian Wieczorek, expert for citizens' councils at Mehr Demokratie e.V.
• Marc Fonseca and Birgit Tellmann, Gesellschaftsforum Bundeskunsthalle Bonn

During the event, we will engage in a moderated discussion about experiences with citizens' councils and how the concept can be applied to the topic of Bonn's stages.
